Frequently Asked Questions

How is Aim for Success affiliated?

On July 1, 2019, Just Say YES and Aim for Success formally merged. Due to its strong brand recognition and reputation, the Aim for Success name will remain the same for its programming, and operate as a division of Just Say YES.

What age group do you impact?

Our programs provide K-12th grade students social-emotional learning opportunities vital to their developmental needs. This means we are equipping students of all ages, backgrounds and circumstances with the knowledge, attitudes and skills they need in order to achieve healthy and successful futures.

Are your programs nationwide?

Since 2002, we have impacted students, parents and educators in 42 states. Our motivational experiences (assemblies) and Aim for Success wellness education programs are currently offered nationwide. Our in-school peer-to-peer mentoring program is only implemented in middle and high schools located in North Texas at this time. If you are interested in the peer-to-peer mentoring program, but are located outside of North Texas, please contact us at info@justsayyes.org and we will provide you with more information on how to bring this program to your school.

Are your programs offered virtually?

Yes! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we quickly adapted our program offerings to meet the needs of in-person and virtual learning. Please contact us today at info@justsayyes.org to learn more about our in-person, live stream and pre-recorded program options.

Do you provide counseling services?

We do not provide any sort of counseling service. Our impact on students, parents and educators is through motivational experiences, wellness education and peer-to-peer mentoring. If you are seeking counseling for a child, we recommend contacting your school’s counselor for services in your area. We also suggest reaching out to a local counseling center or organization to see if any resources are offered to help with your needs.

What is your philosophy on sex education?

We follow the public health model of teaching sexual risk avoidance. We are moving students away from risk behaviors, including sexual activity, in order for them to achieve optimal health.

Are you hiring?

Possibly. We are proud to hire the best and the brightest talent who share our passion and commitment to grow value and vision in youth. To learn more about our position openings, please visit our Contact Us page.

Do you need volunteers?

We are always looking for volunteers! There are various opportunities to serve as an individual, small group or corporation. Please visit our Volunteer page to learn more about opportunities that may align with your passions, skills and interests.

How do I become a speaker?

Just Say YES is not a speaker’s bureau; however, we are always open to adding new talent to our roster. We seek highly trained professionals that already have an established platform and following. If you are interested in partnering with our organization as a speaker, please submit your media kit, video of programs, a link to your website and recommendation letters to info@justsayyyes.org.
